Back in 2014 my dad and I spoke about starting a new hobby in wood working.  I picked up my first lathe from a neighbor and started turning.  I enjoy making pens, bottle stoppers and bowls, but I also enjoy the flat work.  This hobby has become more about spending time in the shop with the people I love than anything else.  My dad, my niece and I love spending time together making sawdust.
