I have an older Shopsmith I was gifted. It works! I have started restoration of the various pieces. I have totally restored the belt sander, the scroll saw (both painted Jet almond), and restored the funtionality of bandsaw, just haven’t finished painting it. I have started stripping the base for repainting. I have not started jointer yet, so it is rough. I have all the little goodies that came with it from factory. Blades, bits, turning tools, drill bits (in separate wood storage box), shaper and router bits, scroll saw blades, sander plates, chucks, extra tables, toolrests and etc. Since acquired my big jet lathe, I haven't been using this and it sits in corner. I was giving this with the stipulation that when I was done with it, I had to gift it into someone else. It makes a great large lathe and the sander and top of line scroll saw are worth it by themselves. Great for someone just starting a shop without a bunch of equipment. So, call around, announce it, etc.…. Had to be one…Have to pick items up in Fredericksburg …
Will all fit in a pickup bed (that’s how I got it) Travis Merrill tnilmerl@hotmail.com
