This year, the Alamo Woodturners Association is competing with the Hill Country Turners to produce gorgeous Beads of Courage boxes. The friendly competition includes the most boxes by a club and the most attractive box from each club. All boxes made in this competition will be donated to BAMC (Brooke Army Medical Center) pediatric unit.  

Pediatric cancer patients use these boxes to collect colorful beads. Different beads represent different treatment milestones.
