Supporting Hill Country Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls, a grassroots movement to help end hunger, began in 1990 and is personalized within each community by local artists. The Hill Country Empty Bowls is an organization in Boerne that works to combat hunger in their community. Artists contribute 500 bowls that are sold, and 100% of the ticket sales go to a local charity. In the past the majority of the bowls were ceramic, but wood turners are beginning to participate. Alamo Woodturners have contributed to this event for two years. Some of our bowls our members have donated are shown below:
